Why do we gather together as a Church?

We gather to encourage each other, strengthen each other, fellowship with each other and worship God together. The bible teaches us to have loving fellowship with one another and to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together.  (Hebrews 10:24,25) (Acts 2:42) (1st Thessalonians 5:11) (Matthew 18:20)

What is our denomination?

The House of Worship is built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ and the principles of the Holy Scriptures.  Our Church contains threads of a variety of denominations but we are not affiliated with any particular Denomination.  We have wonderful fellowship with other Churches and we support any ministry that is seeking to fulfill the ministry, message and mission of Jesus Christ.

Why do we praise God expressively with passion and sincerity?

We praise God with passion and sincerity because He is so AMAZING.  God has been so good to us and we could never repay Him for all that He has done: but we can say "Thank you" through our praise.  The Bible teaches us that God desires, demands and deserves our praise.  The scriptures also teach us to praise God by clapping our hands, standing, shouting, dancing and singing unto Him.  (Psalm 150) (Psalm 100) (Psalm 34:1) (Psalm 105:2) (Psalm 47:1) (Hebrews 13:15)

What is Church Membership?

Membership in the local church formally identifies persons to a particular local body of believers.  When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we become members of the universal body of Christ; But it is still very important for us to identify ourselves with a particular local body of believers. There should be no “lone rangers” in the body of Christ because God has designed it so that we are all dependent upon him and one another. Membership also provides an avenue of accountability for us so that we are not freelancing and doing whatever we want to whenever we want to. We must know and understand that we are NOT just living for ourselves but for others.

What are the benefits of Church Membership?

Church membership empowers you to accomplish something greater than you could if you labored by yourself.  Belonging to a Church helps you discover your peculiar gifts and provides an avenue for you to use them.  Church membership places you and your family under the care and authority of a Pastor who will pray for you, teach you the Word of God and lovingly support you during the highs and lows of your life.  Church Membership places you into a family of believers who are there to minister to you and enjoy healthy fellowship with you and your family.

What do we believe?

We believe that God the Father demonstrated His Love toward us by sending His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross and shed His blood for the remission of our sins.  (John 3:16-18)

(Hebrews 9:11-22)

We believe that Jesus is the Christ, was born of the Virgin Mary, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.  (Matthew 16:13-18) (Luke 1:26-35) (1st Peter 3:18-22)

We believe that we are saved by Grace and that a repentant heart and faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to experience true salvation.  (Romans 10:9, 10) (John 14:6) (Acts 4:12)

We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent to give us power, to be our comforter, truth bearer, helper, guide, gift giver and divine teacher. (John 14:15-25) (1st Corinthians 12:4-11) (Acts 10:44-46)

(Acts 1:8)

We believe that the Holy Bible which contains the Holy Scriptures is the inspired Word of God.

We believe the scriptures are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.  (2nd Timothy 3:16, 17) (Hebrews 4:12) (Matthew 4:4) (2nd Peter 1:19, 21)
